My services revenue has increased from August 2007 to approximatly Rs 35 lakh. Please guide me as to when I should pay service tax. Do I have to pay anything before March 31?

Suresh Pansari: You should pay service tax immediately. You are liable to pay Service Tax the moment your income from services crosses Rs 800,000. You will have to pay the tax for the period before March 31 as well.
