Unistal Systems has appointed Supertron Electronics as the national distributor for Unistal Crash Proof + BitDefender internet security combo.

Supertron will distribute the product through its network of 25 branch offices 3,500 channel partners. The distributor has set a target of selling 5 lakh combo packs in one year.

Alok Gupta, Managing Director, Unistal Systems informs, “This appointment is in accordance with our recent restructuring of product and channel strategy. Supertron specializes in distribution of several international IT product brands. We hope to sell 5 lakh combo units in the first year.”

Readers would recall that Unistal had tied up with BitDefender early this year. After tying up with BitDefender, the vendor had also announced a restructuring of channel.

“Almost all leading PC manufacturers bundle their products with Unistal software. Unistal's bundled offerings with BitDefender have also been witnessing a good market. We shall provide them the necessary impetus by creating nation-wide availability through 25 branches and over 3,500 channel partners,” comments Vibhor Agarwal, Director-Marketing, Supertron Electronics.
