Microsoft ties up with NComputing
Microsoft and NComputing have tied up to further the spread and adoption of multi-user computing.

NComputing will develop its hardware and vSpace software products to take advantage of current and future Microsoft Windows Server operating systems for multiuser computing, such as the forthcoming Windows MultiPoint Server 2010.

This tie up is expected to advance multiuser computing (aka shared resource computing) by making it easier for teachers and students in libraries, labs and classrooms to gain access to genuine Windows experience at lower total cost of hardware.

The collaboration is aimed at helping educational institutions take full advantage of multiuser computing on the Windows Server platform, according to a company press release.
