| Omnitech unveils disaster recovery center |

Omnitech Infosolutions one of the leading IT technology services company providing business availability and business continuity services, recently unveiled India's first third party workplace recovery center, Omni Center. The company provides IT technology services which include Remote Infrastructure Management Services, Business Continuity Planning / Disaster Recovery Services, Application Management, Performance Management and Software Testing Services. Omni Centre is built to provide business resilience by providing backup to three of the four business pillar- Workplace, Equipment and Data (fourth being people). "With disasters like the terrorist attacks, floods, SARS on the rise and the increasing dependence on technology in business, the need for business continuity planning has become imperative. I am confident that companies like Omnitech will help manage and reduce the losses due to such calamities," says Ashok Chavan, Minister of Industries, while inaugurating the Omni Center. The center is built based on guidelines of SS507 standards, coveted Singapore standards for disaster recovery center. With a total area of over 20,000 sq feet is the only one in India to provide 325 workplace recovery positions including server room, data vault, and emergency operations room among other services in the center. The development is an extension of Omnitech's plan to set up chain of Disaster Recovery Centers across the globe, beginning with Mumbai where it is located in Navi Mumbai, and then moving to Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
